Cataract Surgery

Mr Saad is an experienced cataract surgeon. His MD thesis was focused correcting astigmatism with cataract surgery. He has certificate in laser and refractive surgery (CrtLRS) from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He is also specialised in complex cases for which he is routinely receiving referrals.  He is familiar with using different types of intra ocular lenses including premium ones. He counsels the patients before the surgery to help them choose the best lens option for their eyes. He has  long experience from overseas “refractive” cataract surgery

Being a retinal surgeon, he is specialised in dealing with complications of cataract surgery e.g dropped nucleus and secondary lens implantation. He is training fellows and trainees on dealing with complex cases and he has organised courses on dealing with complications.
